Maria has been with First Florida for over twelve years. She is responsible for the company’s accounting, treasury management, tax, auditing, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting. Prior to First Florida, Maria worked for the Cisneros Group of Companies, a global enterprise focused on Real Estate, media and entertainment; she was their Senior Accounting Manager and worked directly with the company’s CEO and CFO.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and her Bachelor of Science in Finance from North Carolina State University.
Maria co-founded the Miami-Dade chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and has been the chapter’s president for the past three years.
